Multiple OS in VPS Web Hosting
Our virtual private server packages feature three Linux distributions that you can select from for the Operating System of your new web server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. Apart from being free, the OSs are very stable and risk-free and the main reason to offer the 3 of them is to make sure that you'll be able to run each application that you'd like, as different pieces of software have different requirements when it comes to the environment they can be used on. Each of the three OSs is backed by a large community of developers who have produced a large number of software packages that you can install and use on your VPS. Depending on the Operating System which you pick, you will also be able to choose between three different Control Panels to manage your web hosting content. Also, in case you decide that you need a new OS, we could always reinstall the server with it. As a paid upgrade, we also provide weekly updates of the OS for max stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are cost-free so they will not increase the cost of your new web server, but also because they are outstandingly secure and stable. Each of them is backed up by a vast community of developers, so you'll be given the option to choose from a myriad of software packages that you may install on your server in case the app that you want to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with specific OSs only and because we want to give you as much flexibility as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you choose a server with a certain OS, we can change it upon request if it turns out that you need alternative one. We will also keep your OS updated on a weekly basis as a part of the additional Managed Services upgrade.
